Prerna is an M.A. candidate in International Affairs at George Washington University. Prerna is passionate about human rights, and more specifically has been researching and spreading information about male genital cutting (circumcision).
Circumcision has a long, interesting history that is relatively unknown in the mainstream, and its purported medical benefits are largely overstated at best and irrelevant or even false at worst, not to mention the risks and potential trauma in infant circumcision - which is routinely practiced in the United States for non-religious purposes.
